• March 26, 1855, King Kamehameha IV, in Privy Council, passes a resolution agreeing to the Principles of Neutrality contained in the 1854 Russian-American Treaty

  • Hawaiian Declaration acceding to the Principles of Neutrality was delivered to the United States President
